Reconstituting lyophilised retatrutide is a two-step calculation. First, the concentration of the solution is the vial mass divided by the volume of bacteriostatic water you added:
concentration (mg/mL) = vial mass (mg) ÷ water volume (mL)
Then the volume to aliquot for a target mass is that mass divided by the concentration:
volume to aliquot (mL) = target aliquot mass ÷ concentration
For example, a 10 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water gives 5 mg/mL (5,000 mcg/mL). To measure a 500 mcg aliquot you would draw 0.1 mL — 10 graduations on a 0.01 mL scale (where 100 graduations = 1 mL).
Retatrutide is supplied lyophilised and dissolved in the laboratory before use. Bacteriostatic water is the standard solvent. Add it gently down the side of the vial, swirl rather than shake, and store the reconstituted solution cold and away from light.
